Old School TMNT or New School TMNT?
I'm curious about this. I think the new series has been on long enough for people to form an opinion. Do you like the new cartoon version of TMNT or are you with the old school cartoon series? I like the older version better. Yes, the new version has a better overall plot and better animation values. However, the old school version was just more fun. The new series doesn't have enough fun moments to me. The whole thing with the Turtles was that you felt as though you wanted to hang with them in the arcade. I'm probably wallowing in nostalgia or something, but that's my two cents.

The 'new-school' TMNT is actually fairly similar to the truly old-school TMNT. The first episode was a near copy of the very first comic. Even some of the angles were almost exactly the same. It would've been nice if they had been able to include Splinter's origin though, which I don't think they did.
Personally, I'm quite pleased with what I've seen of the new show, but I keep forgetting to watch it. (Get up before noon on Saturday? NEVER!) The old show was great, though. It's been years since I've seen it.

But remember as a kid you'd love to get up early to watch saturday morning cartoons? all eager and exicted. Now that you are older, it just ain't happen. But you still like cartoons. Some of the new ones you may not like but then I just started thinkin about the transition period. Where you'd wake up and then debate about getting more sleep vs saturday morning cartoons or you'd turn it on and watch it but not leave the bed. eh I'm done.
