Picking up chicks with amv's?!

Here's the scenario. I there's this good looking Korean girl in 2 of my classes, and we are both pretty much have the same attitude and everything. The thing is we don't know who's going to ask who or if one of us is even going to ask. Any way, I don't want to be the typical guy so I was wondering if I should have a message at the end of an amv. It would be her first time (I think) seeing an amv so of course itd have to be good. Does anyone have any suggestions? another q would be is this pathectic or not?

If you can ask her to see an AMV, I think, with a little chance taking, you could ask her to go out on a date or something. Even giving her a note would be good. Just my thinking. Putting a message at the end of an AMV is, well, kind of pathetic. If she didn't want to go out with you for other reasons, an AMV (especially if she doesn't like anime) could really turn her off, and possibly backfire on you badly.

Anyhow, I'd go with my "Just ask her in person or with a note" suggestion. Go get 'em tiger!

chances are that if you're talking about women of any sort here on the boards you're damned to spend all eternity trying to find some form of one on the internet. get off your ass and talk to her.

besides, the only possible way you can persuade a lady to go out with you with an amv is if you've made one that has been on T.V. and/or has gotten you some money. in which case, she'd proceed to ask you for a loan or two and go out on a date sometime, and then never call you back while you're leaving constant messages about how you love her and that if you don't get your money back that's alright, but it was like about 1,000 dollars and you don't have that kind of pocket money right now and she'd call back saying that she never got the money and you're all like yeah right whore and she's like fuck you, die, if you don't like me, then blow me, and then you say god that turns me on and then she says fuck yeah and then you two have sex over the phone.

i never thought it was possible to have sex on the phone. as long as you use 1-800-CALL-ATT, you're perfectly fine. right T.V.'s Alf and comedian Carrot Top?

Any way just ask man it can't hurt. Worst case scenario is she says no and then you can sak someone else out. That is unless your exceptioanlly ugly and insecure in which case you'll hole yourself up in your mother's house and cry for a while then go adn kill some people, so no biggy there Eh?

hmm....

my point of view...

go and ask her...get cho big ass booty off dat chair and ask her already.

but the amv thing....me thinks its really sweet. but hell, that's me, i'd totally dig it if someone dedicated a vid to me. but then again...i'm not that chick and i don't know how she feels about anime or amvs. so...its a bit iffy. not all chicks dig these things. i know for sure my roommate don't understand why ppl watch anime (believe me...she's totally opposed to is... ¬¬ ) so yeah...there is a possiblity that she wont' like it. but then no chick will not think a message in any way shape or forum like that is not sweet...we may laugh and think its corny..but we will think its sweet.

Yhea..we otaku chicks love that stuff...but not all females are as privlaged as we who love anime. So I'd say just ask her out yourself for now..and save the AMV message for a later date
