Do you have any favorite editors?

I would say you should ask them for help. It's cool, if you like their stuff and all. Most are nice enough to help you out too.

And not complete morons like NerdStrudel.

Yah, I was just being a smartass.. But you see

I suck completly and therefore wouldn't be able to help this one.. Who has obviously Tried all his other options (exluding actually reading of course), before asking for an easy way out. Therefore.. I do not appologize

Zarxrax's amv-tutoring-for-money deal is probably still open. Drop him a line.

heres some advice: watch a lot of amvs, watch tons, decide what is good and what is bad... try to do similar things to what the good videos do and avoid the mistakes that the bad videos make.

Meh. I've coached two people before, in your same situation. One turned out to be a totaly noob flamer that didn't want me to tell him how to do everything the technical way, and just sent me really nasty e-mails after that. The other one turned out well, and is still doing pretty dang good work.

So, if you want me to tell you how to do everything the RIGHT and TECHNICAL way, then just drop me a PM or email me: code_chrono@yahoo.com

And no, there are no shortcuts. (Well, there are, but they land some really crappy AMV's)
