i plan on making a couple for the game
Senel love triangle
Never give up
that sorta thing
but i have no idea where i can get the cut scenes or how to rip them from my disc.
can anyone help or point me in the right direction??

Programs are not hard to find if you use google or any other kind of search machine.

well i know the rules
and i would search online but last time i tried that for a ripping program i got nail by some seriously bad viral programs. so unless someone uploads their to a site or someone make some sort of amv scene archive i don't know what else i can do.
and nowhere in the rules does it say i cant get someone to put scenes up in the order the come in the show with music in the background. technically it would be a amv, a crappy but useful amv.
oh and what i mean is the anime parts.
also i would love for the amv to include 3 attacks, phantom dragon dance, bloody howling, and sword rain
hehe maybe you should love the smart alik n00bs, the point out flaws in the rules, but don't correct this one anytime soon plz

As much as I might like to see a video for that game (I liked Senny and C), I'm not sure if there is enough animated footage in there to make a decent AMV. I don't remember very many cutscenes in the game besides the opening cinematic and a few random clips throughout the game. I'm just wondering if you've planned out how you are going to make this video even when you get the footage.

the only thing to make a decent AMV with this game is:
- making an opening AMV (like I did with Tales of the Abyss)
- or just making this a "Tales of" tribute (if you want to use a full song)

there is 25 minutes of animated footages in the game not including the opening. most of the really good stuff appears in the character storys.
and yes i have it planned out, but i need the footage to do it.
Senny and G-girl are my favorites, bloody howling into my combo then just as mine finishes a new bloody howling hits. i acheived a 189 hit combo on raging nerifes (Will and chloe helped)
i will dazzle you all with the movies when they are done, but i gotta get the scenes or amvs containing the scenes

If the anime cut scenes from "Tales of Legendia" is all you want, then it's pretty simple. In fact, you don't even need to download a single program to rip them.

1.) Put the DVD into your DVD drive.

2.) navigate to the DVD's "AFS" folder.

3.) Drag the file called "MOVIE.AFS" onto your PC.

That's it. I mean there's a few things you could do to extract each movie from within the .afs file, but you don't have to if you don't want. You could just drag the file straight into DGIndex or Virtual dub mod to start converting them. Of course, it will then be up to you to split the movies up to your liking.

As for getting in-game attacks, you might be better off just capturing them from the game itself. I mean I suppose sites like youtube might have what you're looking for, but even if they did, you know the quality is going to be terrible. So I wouldn't recommend it.
