Faces of Death was so far the most entertaining edited Violence AMV I've seen.

Well, in Elfen Lied's defense you do see intestines and other internal organs showing up at times, but I've even come to regard the 'gore' in that as comparable to the decapitation scene from Kill Bill, which I just found extremely humorous. Probably has something to do with how glossy the animation is.

I watched it with a few friends and they were stunned.
"did they just do that on a cartoon kept roaming around the room"
I think I got them all hooked on anime since then

Elfenlied had a puppy being beat to death, that counts for something.

Also there was one scene where this one women had her insides pretty much blown out and you could see he spine, organs, ribs etc.

But no elfenlied is far from the most violent.
