Seeking song/band suggestions.

So as my first attempts to really get into making AMV's I've settled on what could be called a theme project of sorts. Trying to pick out a song for all seven of the 'sins' from Full metal alchemist.

So far the list looks like this.

Envy: "sympathy for the devil" Rolling Stones version. This one is done in a way. It's the first I made using subtitled footage, needs to be remade.

Wrath: Done and posted with Sum 41's "Fat lip"

Lust: Finished the project file with premire. Picked "You and your hand" by Pink for the song. Just gotta clean up the footage....BADLY.

Greed: Thought about Black Sabbath's "Iron Man" For the gag factor. But also considering "Rockstar" by Nickelback.

Gluttony: Some songs were just WAY too cliche, but I can't help but wonder if Weird Al's "Eye of the fatass" Might work.

It's pride and sloth though that are really giving me a hard time. I just can't pin a song, or even really a style to them. Though the random idea generator actually thought about using "Night on bald mountain" From disney's fantasia for Pride, or maybe at least giving it a shot.

Anyone have any ideas or bands I should consider?

Are you planning on making an AMV for each of these themes? 'Cause that'll get old real quick for you, trust me.

Hmm, A Perfect Circle - The Noose or A Perfect Circle - The Outsider as "Pride"?.. Maybe they're not the type of songs you're looking for, but that's what I would consider =)

An AMV for each character? Yep. Partly because I want to see if I can, partly cause I'm still learning all the ins and outs of all the AMVapps with them.

But the big reason probably is the fact that my comps a bit on the old side, and I had to buy a 320 gig external HD just to hold all the full metal alchemist rips I made. (the two drives in the compy only 350 gigs combined) So it's the only footage I have to play with till I get the money for more upgrades. Well that or find a way to maybe compress down the rips further. Just haven't had the time for it.

As someone who made four RahXephon videos in a row (three of which are a crappy 'trilogy'), I am going to tell you that you will be so sick of FMA by then that you'll never want to watch it again.

As someone who also made 6 videos with the same anime (as well as a few others that aren't on teh org), I can safely say this -
Depending on the source, you may run out of footage real fast depending on what you're doing. And...based on what you're saying, it does sound like an ambitious project. Although I dunno about being so sick of the anime after seeing it so much that you wouldn't watch it again >.>
