So I'm working on a project that involves Bob Dylan's Tangled Up In Blue being done as a tribute to blue-haired romances in Anime. Running into a bit of a creative roadblock. I'm trying to think of an anime to match to the following lyrics (may want to ask your parents for a copy of the song to hear how they go)
"She was married when we first met
Soon to be divorced
I helped her out of a jam, I guess,
But I used a little too much force.
We drove that car as far as we could
Abandoned it out West
Split up on a dark sad night
Both agreeing it was best.
She turned around to look at me
As I was walkin' away
I heard her say over my shoulder,
"We'll meet again someday on the avenue,"
Tangled up in blue."
also...
"She lit a burner on the stove and offered me a pipe
"I thought you'd never say hello," she said
"You look like the silent type."
Then she opened up a book of poems
And handed it to me
Written by an Italian poet
From the thirteenth century.
And every one of them words rang true
And glowed like burnin' coal
Pourin' off of every page
Like it was written in my soul from me to you,
Tangled up in blue.
"
I've got scenes from Nadesico, Ai Yori Aoshi and have plans for Maison Ikokku for other verses in the song, but I don't want to end up cliping this song to where it becomes only 2 minutes long. any help, a point in the right direction would be a great help.

Dylan is rough, mang. His songs have so many meanings that it's very hard to fit anything to them. Hats off to you if you make it work. For instance, in this case "blue" fits much better with the attitude Cowboy Bebop than any hair color. The first paragraph fits well too, and you could try some kind of channel replacement on Julia's hair if you want to risk the ire of Bebop fans =p.
In general, I'd say that if you're doing a multi-anime project then you want to stick to fairly well known animes or risk it being downloaded by people who only know 3/4 of the shows you used, but completely miss what you're saying with the last 1/4 because it's obscure and don't like it as well as they might have as a result. If you're using a single anime then only people who know your anime or don't care whether they know it will download it, so this isn't an issue.
Just so you know, there are two versions of this song that are a little different (Blood on the Train Tracks and The Bootleg Series - 3 disks.)
