It really depends on what kind of tribute you wanna make. I guess you might be thinking about regular pop rock stuff but what about an unusual song? There's a really beautiful one from hammerfall I was willing to use on my first AMV I'm doing but I changed my mind and picked up a Joe Satriani one.

It's In Memoriam, of course from Hammerfall as I said above, in the Crimson Thunder album. It's an instrumental song and fits really well in the "omg he died, poor him" kind of tribute. Don't know if he died tho, I don't watch bleach anymore, and it should fit for other kinds of tributes as well.
