Help on making website for my studios =[

Im sorry that i posted this here. I didn't know where else to post it. Does anyone know how to make a website just for amvs. Like I would want to make one but im lacking on the intelligents on how to.

p.s: Does it cost Money>?

you can get a free website but, they won't have the file space needed to host the videos themselves and will usually be accompanied by ads.

however there are affordable servers out there.

the rest: design and whatnot, would depend on your personal taste.

You can find a decent webhost for something like 5$ a month. Domain names have also gotten really cheap over the years.

The problem is video hosting, unless you plan on embedding youtube links in your site and calling it a day. Or I suppose you could link to here, but then what's the point? :\

That's what I'm saying though. There are plenty of fairly priced hosts that offer enough bandwidth and storage space for videos. Unless you're going to host over a tb of vids?

Ok yea. I just looked up some web hosting and it has gotten one heck of a lot cheaper since the last time I looked (several years ago). I don't think price would be a problem here.

Make sure that the hosting site allows the hosting of videos that use music which you dont have the rights to use.

I made a few other videos not related to AMV's that got taken down simply because of the music, which kind of killed my site. (I have to link to YouTube and MegaUpload in order for the people to get the videos, which can be really ******* annoying.

Keep that in mind atleast.

double posting to say that it sucks that you cant even mention the site that i wanted to mention. (you all know the name of it)

Atleast you could censor it in the "link form" instead of simply the word. :S
