I don't know why all these ppl say 'self-sacrifice' is key... I for one do NOT think so, but neither is physical power.

Courage
Determination
Honor

Honestly I've really found that you can really get far in this world by being an ass... with dignity. If you have dignity you know right from wrong and often do the right thing or at least learn from your mistakes! If you have determination you won't be put off by other assholes who put you down. Finally you need the courage to do it all, right or wrong.

My personal heroes are not very...heroic :/

1. Humanistic yet honest and flawed
2. Daring and limits-pushing
3. Deep and weird, not hollow like the typical heroes

Yay for not being helpful at all xD

Indeed its short, simple, and empowering. I'm probably going to use this  .

Keep em comin if you have idea's people!
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

...Bout sums it up.

Seriously, heroes like Superman...they aren't really heroes because they aren't in much danger. Superman can get killed by...what? A crystal that's probably INSANELY hard to find? So, for me, the three most important traits are:

Diginity
Mortality
Respect

If you don't have any of that, how are you a hero?
