How long do you spend making an AMV?

Well it depends on my mood,average maybe 1-2 months,if I'm in a rush maybe 2-3 weeks but very it'll be done very crappy.

In my 2 last AMVs:

C o c k t a i l: 389 hours in three and a half months!
C l i c h é: 1 hour, in one day! ^ ^

It depends. If I'm really motivated, sometimes I can get one done in a few weeks, but usually I'd say a few months, working on it a little every day or almost every day. I've never actually timed in hours before.

In hours... it gets longer and longer. Really. Currently about 60 on average, I'd say.

A few hours? usually I can do something in a week. Usually some little stuff during the school week and a lot during the weekend.
