Switching from editing on Windows to Macs is not so much of a happy ride.

Currently, I'm learning Final Cut Pro. I still don't kow too much about it. I'm just a straight up windows supporter in all aspects because avisynth makes the world go round. I've got a beta due for class next week. We'll see if I can get over myself in time to get decent amount done. Though, I will be jumping back and forth a little with windows because I'm not too familiar with cleaning up my footage on a mac. I'll do it in avisynth on windows then render a lossless huffy file. I havent tried it yet but here's hoping that it will work out alright.

Uhm, why? You should just be able to change the container, but leave the encode alone. Hell, I never had an issue placing huffyuv avis in FCP, but even if I needed to change the container to mov, that's not an actual reencode, nothing gets reencoded.
