What think your friends and family of amvs?

My friends who like anime like my AMVs and think AMVs are cool in general, they just don't care about them as much as I do.

I have this one friend though, who considers AMVs to be "ruining good music" and she now blames me for all AMVs she finds on youtube o_O

My sister doesn't care, my parents used to not care but are becoming a bit more interested now that I've won a contest. It's not a big interest, though, the only people who really care about my AMVs are my close friends.

You should try getting "un-addicted" to anime. I've realized that more non-asians are obsessed w/ anime than asians. That's pretty sad. Anime is boring anyways and it's usually retarded because nobody acts that way in real life. Exaggeration makes it stupid looking and not very entertaining. Certain more realistic anime is more entertaining, but not the kind you like to watch most of the time.

What think your friends and family of amvs?

They think of nothing and will continue to be in the dark of this deed, the secret will die with me. :3

except...my cuzin knows about it because he used to make some and only stopped because he was way too busy with a job that treats him like a slave o__O

My family is 'supportive', but only because it's a hobby of mine rather than interest in AMVs in general. As a result, they tend to think my videos are a lot better than they actually are, especially my parents.

My mom thinks I'm to dedicated, since I'm always asking for Netflix, and for DVD's, also getting all sorts of programs like AE, VirtualDub, and etc.

My dad is actually impressed with me, because he's glad that I have a good hobby that I'm willing to turn to a job someday. He also enjoys watching Dragon Ball, Naruto, and Bleach with me, so usually when I edit with those, I like to show them to him.

And the rest of my family...I'm not sure if they know I edit. o_O

As for my friends, I have quite a few that are into anime, some know about AMV's and some don't, so when I'm with the ones that like to edit, it's fun to do collabs or talk about general AMV's, for my friends that don't do AMV's they're fun to talk about general anime's together.

I also have friends who aren't anime fans, and only one of them knows I like editing, he accepts it and we are still good friends. For the others who don't know I edit, we all have a good friendship.

For the people who read my whole thing, sorry for it being so long.
