Searching for a love song about a "hate"->love development

I'm planning a project and I'm literally searching for the right song for years. The song should tell something about a love where a guy does not get that a specific girl likes him. It can also be something about a hate->love development. It would help if it is sung by a man (from the perspective of the "liked one"), but this is not required. The lyrics should be in German or English. I hope somebody has some ideas^^.

Hang on, explain the scenario better. Do you mean you want a song where the person singing it doesn't like the girl, but the girl is in love with him, he's just oblivious to it, that could then build into him falling in love with her at the end? And could you tell me which anime it's for and the story line?

You understood it correctly. However it would also work if there's a friendship to love progress in the song, I think that should be easier to find.

And could you tell me which anime it's for and the story line?

I know it's not very creative, but I want to do School Rumble AMV about the relationship of Harima and Eri. The general storyline is about Harima secretly having a crush on Tenma, and in the progress of the story one of her friends (Eri, typical tsundere character) starts to like him but he doesn't see this, and still runs after Tenma. Harima had the wrong impression of Eri and his opinion about her only gets better slowly, but because they get along well, it isn't impossible that he actually starts to like her.

It should be sufficient if the song at least suits a part of the storyline.

And how would you want this song to sound? I can't think of anything that already exists, I'm planning on trying to make a song for it. I know you have no reason to trust my abilities as a songwriter, but look at it this way, I'll make it, and if you like it and want to use it, it's yours, if not, you've just given me the inspiration to write a type of song. I mean, I listen to ALOT of artists, I don't know any that have that theme, I can think of some that have the opposite, you were my love but now I don't like you kinda thing, but really I'm here because I want to see my music put to anime, and because it's a great way to find inspiration for different song themes. I won't be disappointed if people don't want to use what I create, but I think you'd be surprised with what I can come up with, I can do pretty much any style you'd want. So what would be the ideal sound?
