It used to take me from 3 days to two weeks. I'd edit straight, with rarely any breaks in between. I didn't have a job (or life) so what did I care?? I've got a job now, still no life, and I hadn't edited since. It'd probly take me about 3x that as I'd have to take somewhat frequent breaks. I don't spend long on amvs cuz I have a short attention span lol and don't care to test it ^_^

On average it's about 1-3 days, but if it's a really good amv I'll just keep coming back to it and revising it for a week or two.

what I meant by I don't spend long on AMVs is I tend to keep premiere open and do other things for 9/10ths of the day... I don't know, when I'm editing I don't want to do it, but when I'm not editing there's nothing I want to do more (especialy when listening to music... I could just kill myself) so I end up 'editing' all day so I can get everything else done... then WHEN I get everything else done and I'm bored to shit I really edit xD. Hours go by without me even noticing...

My one and only AMV took me around 8 days to make. I spent a lot of time & effort on it and I'm pretty please with how it turned out. ^_^

I spend way too much time on mine... Doesn't help that they are all becoming complete compositions :roll:

3-4 hours if I'm kerblammoed by inspiration, but others... 4 months, and my Nightmare Before Christmas video and my Spongebob video are still unfinished.

I recently noticed, quite surprisingly...

The shorter amount of time I create the vid...

The better it seems to me after it's done ;___;

The longer you work on a video, the more it eats at you. You start to nitpick at every little detail and start to become skeptical on every aspect of the video.

So I do agree with your statement. |:>

That would explain why I liked my latest LAMV so much even though I only worked 17 hours on it.
