Need a Song

I want to do a ghibili video using My Neighbor Totoro.

I want something uplifting, but at the same time I would like a song thats isn't all "rosey", but not really sad... but has a sense of struggle about it.

If at all possible (and isn't required) I would like it to have a sort of "stepping feeling" Since I want to do something with all the walking.

I know its odd but I can't seem to find the right song.

I have looked at the following so far:

I'm not a big fan of this kind of song, usually, but this one stuck with me. I really like the strings section, I think that probably helps a lot.

I interpreted that as either applying to their mom, or Totoro---or both. There's the whole looking for her little sister bit in the last third of the movie as well.

I'll see if I can think of anything else.

In looking for a song for this one I found the perfect song for Howl's moving castle

It actually came from looking at V. Carlton's music.
