Anyone ever feel like more obscure anime get ignored?

Post by Meilin1 » Sun Jul 12, 2009 9:20 pm

It's funny. My Naruto videos have more downloads, comments, and opinions as individuals than all my other vids put together. Is this true of everyone, or am I just unlucky I wonder?

For the most part, people only watch what they know.

Sex (hentai), popularity (popular shounens) and fun (parodies of anything) sell the best.

Always remember this; It matters not how many people watch your videos, it's who watches them that counts. I would rather have one person I get along with watch and enjoy my video over a thousand underage naruto fanboys watching it.

Stop worrying about how popular your vids are, or else you'll end up getting caught in just trying to be a crowd-pleasure and eventually lose any enjoyment you may have in this hobby (and yes, at the end of the day it is just a hobby).

Don't really worry about popularity, but it's depressing to never get any feedback on your work

I'll comment on all your other vids if you promise me you'll never ever make another naruto video again.

Sometimes I feel like when I wash my hands, they get wet.

Bah, don't care about that. I'm making an AMV of Great Teacher Onizuka, that I really don't know how much people watched, but I'm pretty sure that it wasn't as popular as most of new animes that suck much more than it. Do it with the one you want, expect nothing in exchange but the joy of watching it done.
