Need large fleet/army engagements

So, after being a lurker for many years at the org, I've decided to try my hand at making an AMV. I have the music picked out, but I still need an anime. I need anime with scenes of large military engagements, whether it be troops on the ground, mecha, space fleets, etc. Preferably it would be long scenes and not just like a flashback type of scene that only lasts a few seconds/minutes.

The only ones I can think of right now are the airship engagements in Last Exile but I'm sure there are more.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Valkyria Chronicles looks like the best one so far or one of the Gundam series.
