I like the ones that show effort *nods*. But I give VERY LITTLE leeway for 'first videos'. Sure your effort must have gone from 0 to... whatever you put into it but if it just plain sucks then it just plain SUCKS lol. Please understand >.< it needs to fade away and never be seen again ^.^

and effort is not only shown in first videos. I appreciate 100% effort no matter where I find it. However, there are some cases. Editors like Koop, who, I'm sure, puts 100% effort into ALL his videos, can sometimes escape praise from me. >.< it's sad but true after consistantly showing 100% effort for a long time I start to expect what I deem to be 150% effort! This is actually just 100% effort plus a 50% (or so) increase in skill, but compaired to my base skill, it's 150% effort lol. Anyway it's a sadist's (does that mean what I think it means??- one who listens to emo music all day) theory

I also appreciate it when ppl listen to me or I find elements I use in my editing in other, more popular, editors!! This is why copying classic editor's styles can be so amusing!! These more popular editors may be copying the classic editor, they may be copying you!, they may have thought it up (virtually) on their own, who's to know??
