Just curious about how people opinionate things
I have been reading reviews the past couple days and I began wondering how everyone writes their opinions.
For example, I write my opinions based upon all of the videos the contributing creator has made.
I find the best video he or she made and when they release a new video I compare the new on to the best one that he or she made.
I also seem to be not as anal about over used stuff, around three fourths of the reviews I read for Bleach amvs all said that they rated it low in originality because Bleach is over used. But I look at it differently. For me a creator could use the most over used anime on the planet, but as long as the theme and music are fresh I do not really care.
Personally if there is something I do not like, instead of taking points off of originality or effort, I take them out of the review-ability.
Again just curious!

The Smiths are a good band.
Most new anime sucks.
The 80s was the best decade.
Contextualism the answer to taking religious diversity seriously.
Kimagure Orange Road is the greatest anime ever.
...there I just opinionated some things.

I say some things, generally concerning the video. Occasionally they're actually detailed and, on rare occasions, maybe even helpful.

Re: Just curious about how people opinionate things
At first I tried to chronologically list everything I liked in the "good" section and everything I thought didn't work in the "bad" section. Now my opinions are usually less detailed but I still try to say something meaningful while leaving out any impressions I had that could be misleading or just wouldn't be helpful or encouraging.
Why bother in 2009? I dunno, I just figure that people like feedback and to know that someone thinks their work is worth taking a few minutes to actually say something about. I know some people will think that attitude is passé but I can't help it.
