Actually, the main purpose of starting the thread was to see if the idea was done before just so I could see it and see how it was done and such. It won't stop me from doing the idea, but since I'm just at a pre-planning stage right now (I don't have a multiple screen setup), I just wanted to get a feel for what I was going to get myself into. Anyways, I'm not consciously putting myself down, matybe its a bad habit.Vlad G Pohnert wrote: My sugggestion is to try some samples and see how it works before dicussing it too much. My suggestion is don't put yourself down and convince yourself here that it woun't work. Just do it and see! Part of the fun of AMVs is to learn new things by doing them. And don't let something like just because the concept of multiple screen been done stopping you with using a new idea with it....
Ya, I was leaning toward having that 'centrally-focused' video. But rather than complement the central video, ie: showing either a counterpart or similar things as the central video, the two tangent videos would be symmetrical to each other while also supporting the main central video. It would be as if each video could work independently, but it wouldn't have as great an impact as they were all connected. (kinda like voltron, hehe) Hopefully I'll start the idea soon, but it'll be awhile before it gets completed. Thanks for the responses people.flint_the_dwarf wrote:Hmm... I think that could be pretty amazing. Now the way I see it, is all videos would be synced with eachother as well, but still playing something different. Kinda what you were thinking, Koop? I think this could work, but it would be best to have one screen with one central-focus video, and the others would complement that one. Similar to choreography in dance, but this is with video.
I don't know if that's what you were thinking...
