Really? I thought dishonest people being "creative" with their accounting was a pretty common concept.CodeZTM wrote:That one was a stretch. I never thought this hobby was childish. I think there's a lot you can learn from it, as well as being a great creative outlet for people.
I'll admit I've lost a lot of interest in editing over the last year, but that's not to say I'll move on. I think I'm just in a really dry spell for inspiration and while I have great ideas, I'm not ready to utilize them yet.

I think I'll edit anime for a really long time. I may not make long videos anymore, but I'm sure I'll get back into the mood I had before. I want to work in the film industry or at least something to do with editing, (videos..not writing ) but I'll probably still make AMVs while I am working on other things I find them fun to look at and fun to make. I'll probably edit with anime until I lose all my dvds and data or something that's all I can think of that would stop me from editing :0

NO, they´re getting bored, leave while you canlokitocatracho wrote:I never imagined that after several years, I would ever say that amvs are getting boring... or perhaps I need a new influence
I think the only thing childish here is saying "I will never", life is too long to be the same person all along, we change, our family do, the whole world changes, maybe tomorrow good music and good anime will stop being made, then I´ll be gone. , for now I have around 9 projects to realize.
if you like to ride a bike, you won´t stop because is "childish", or a little girl won´t stop playing with her baby doll, she will just change it for his bf / child , I guess we only adapt things to our "age". >>>

Well after finishing the first part of that amv, I will have to retract myself. Nobody has thought yet the combo and tecniques I'll be featuring in it, so I cant retire until thenIkore wrote:NO, they´re getting bored, leave while you canlokitocatracho wrote:I never imagined that after several years, I would ever say that amvs are getting boring... or perhaps I need a new influence

Re: What will happen when...
The girl who plays with dolls only goes on to collect fancy ones. The boy who plays with action figures re-purposes them into collectors items (and stops taking them out of the package). The amvers that started out as making fanboy/fangirl videos go on to create "art".Ikore wrote:if you like to ride a bike, you won´t stop because is "childish", or a little girl won´t stop playing with her baby doll, she will just change it for his bf / child , I guess we only adapt things to our "age". >>>

Might want to look up Arthur Anderson and see how they USED to roll.
