And there's also Chi's New Adress... it has over 100 episodes 5 minutes long if I remember correctly... I saw only few episodes but I can say that it's the cutest anime cat I've seen so far

Hate to go with the obvious, but Meowth, Persian, Skitty, Delcatty, Glameow, Purugly, Purrloin and Liepard from Pokemon.

Gatomon from Digimon.

Alphonse from FMA picks up cats a lot.

Taku from FLCL. he grows cat ears in one episode.

Hikaru and Kaoru from Host Club. they dress as the cheschire cat in one episode. there's also Belzanef

The Cat Returns and Whisper of the Heart (studio Ghibli)

There's the Kuroneko-sama from Trigun, Shamisen from Haruhi, Iori from School Rumble, Sakamoto from Nichijou, and Phoenix from Index. There's Yuroichi from Bleach, Itsue from Otome Youkai Zakuro, Blair from Soul Eater, and Schrodinger from Hellsing Ultimate and possibly the Puss in Boots character from Ookami-san. There's also a cat in Level E and a gang of cats in Beelzebub. And that's all that I can recall from the top of my head right now. Sgt Frog: Giroro has a cat
Hellgirll: S2 episode 11 is about a cat
Ranma: (in addition to Shampoo) there is the giant ghost-cat Maolin, and episode "You really do hate cats" which has MANY cats.
