Not cell phones, older ones. Like that big bake-lite monster grandma has beside her bed with the weird dial.

Someone using a phone with lots of lines that light up would also be good, like a secretary or a radio DJ.

The latest episode of Fate/Zero (17) had one of the characters talking on an old spin dial phone, it has shown up a couple of times throughout the series.
There are also some old phones in Baccano

higurashi uses the old style rotary phones throughout the whole thing (it takes place in 83) and umineko uses one of those cool looking old style phones in two scenes...
