Well, I often think about how to edit things in my projects when I'm away from the computer and I spend time going over in my mind what I have done to my projects. Often times thinking about tweaks, scene changes, things I'd like to experiment on and so on.

but is it fun... hmm. Well knowing that nobody is forcing or asking me to create AMV's and I usually look forword to getting on the computer to apply some change I think may work well, I'd say yes.

Now if only Adobe premiere was more stable :?

I don't think it's the editing part that I have fun with, but the idea of the video itself. I love seeing it all come together. I may not be the best editor, but I have a great time making my videos. When it stops being fun, I think it'll be time to find a new hobby.

You'll never have fun until you get that bug removed from your ass :O

Well as for uhh me, I enjoy it partly. Waiting for things to render and just gather clips is the unfun part. Cursing at Premiere for doing something this way, but not allowing you to do it another way.

I spent 15mins, finding a 10second clip :\ I then had to take the "found clip that you needed mandatory break".

I more so enjoy helping people because I have a short attention span and doing that is REALLY quick, but even then I sometimes rush that ;p

The funnest thing about making AMVs is getting high scores and trophies, and shoving it peoples faces. The funnest part is embarasing yourself and all of your friends by getting up on stage recieving an award and yelling "you suck" at all of the people who lost. This is the point of our comunity; to assert dominance!

No, but honestly, the fun thing about creating vids for me is the comunity. I really enjoying taking part in group projects, contests (online and otherwise) and keeping in contact with people of the same hobby.
During the actual creation process, Im the really messed up guy that has less fun editing than he does encoding. For some reason I just get a total kick out of creating a really smooth looking video file ^_^

It's become less fun since I switched over to Premiere from Ulead. But still, nothing quite beats the exhilirating pounding and throbbing in my head after a productive night of editing. To me, it's really all about the finished product.

I have to say that Iron Chef at AWA this past year was the most fun I've had editing in my entire life. Everything just worked, and I knew I was putting together something I could be proud of.
I have no idea how to use this new forum.

I have a lot of fun making AMV's.

I always feel a little thrill and good amount of satisfaction when a section I am working out turns out just right. And it's also great when I drop in a clip and it fits perfectly without having to mess with it.

Cheers.

Actually, what makes AMVs fun for me is that they synch well and has some meaning to it when you've finished watching it....
