AMV advice

Post by Sephirothskr » Tue Aug 05, 2014 8:43 am

I just thought I'd give people some tips for the hell of it. I'm sorta bored right now and I'm trying to be a good active member. (I hope this is right category. lol) so here goes:

A great tip I have learned over the years is when you are transitioning, try as much as possible to transition from a moving shot, to a static shot. When you do that you kind of end the little ride you had your viewers on. Now, a tactic I have learned from others to make it flow better, is if you really want to use a static shot, then add in some slight camera panning and zooming. As minor as a detail as this may be, it makes a huge difference and looks a heck of a lot better when transitioning.

I thought I would share that for any rookie editors out there that need the help. Enjoy :)
