They were simply cataloged wrong. The editors were probably rushing and selected the first year that was available

I would like to think that hardly any of them have actual files attached to them. I Know the amonut of videos that really premiered in the early 90s and the 80s was slim to none.

Not as many as are in the catalog (this site has always relied on the submitters to be as accurate as possible to keep an accurate count, so there are failings there) but there are a fair few more then slim videos that premiered in the 80s and early 90s. I would know since I have quite a few of them in my personal archive

I love the older amvs and was specifically trying to get ones I dont have by premier date.
