DVD planet's really recommended..

Too bad they get their stuff a week AFTER the suncoast dates.

wow, I totaly respect you guys for that. You were quite nice. I don't know if I could have done that. I'd of yelled at him to read the GIANT sticky that tells n00bs how to make vids. and then ofcourse told him to reffer back to the guides.

to you guys, I say

Touche!

I wasn't being rude to you.

It's nott hat I don't like you, it's that a n00b with a brand spankin new join date asks this question EVERY FREEKIN DAY.

I might understand if you were helpless, but in general amv there are 3 stickys that tell you how to make an amv, and on the guides at the site, they tell you how to make an amv.

SO, if you attempted AT ALL to try an make a video before you walked in here and just asked us how to do it because you're so damn lazy, you'd already know how to make a video because all the answers on the site.

Now, if you took that as a personal insult towards yourself, nothing i can do about that now, it was your mistake. I ment no offense to you before. I was simply complementing Troy and Knight for their politness and patience because amungst myself, just about most eveyrone here will give you the same responce. Stop asking stupid questions and attempt to read the dman guides.

Now from here on out I'm going to try to be nice to you, so here's a little advice for your first video. Don't make a Dragon ball Z video with a Linkin Park song. If you can, use any other naime, and any other band. n00b videos tend not to be great, and when you see lots of link ball z vids that are so terrible you want to gowge your eyes out, you tend to loose respect for them. Link ball z vids are the most common vids on this entire site.

Now please form here on out, don't ask stupid questions, and if you have a legitement question (like above) if it's going to require pages of type for it to be answered, atleast TRY looking for the answer on your own first. If you tried and were unsuccessful, I'd even be willing to help you myself. but with all the answers lying around here, it's obvious you didn't even try.

Yes yes...well said everybody. NeoTokyo, I would say to go with Adobe Premiere if you can...but you'll have to fork up a pretty penny inorder to get it, but it is really worth it. As for videos, I would say go with DVDs all the way. That way you get the quality you want (HIGH!!) Try to aviod most stuff off the net for a few reasons: 1) Not always good quality (And the quality only gets worse with each exporting of the video clip) 2) Subs can be a real pain. (There is ways to get around them, but you usually have to clip off the entire bottom of the scene) and 3) DVDs allow for amazingly higher quality footage than any other method (At least that I know of) And what Jace Tsunami said is true. Try not to make a DBZ video. (I have a freind who does, but I don't have the heart to tell him that they aren't at all good) and also, don't try to use the common songs. (But even I am a vialaor of what I just said. I have used Linkin Park, and they turned out ok, but they will never be good, because they are not as original) Basically, what I mean to say is: Put a lot of time and effort into your videos. You will NOT get a good video by spending 2 hours on one. Let the video be inspired. Do whatever you want with the video. But put time into it. Make it as good as you can. Be original (something I'm still getting used to in my videos lol)
I hope that helped. :D

what I consider is a stupid question, is where the answer is right there and you're too lazy to look.

ex:

what color is the sky?
ya kno,w how hard is it to look up?

so if you hav an IQ above 20, i think you're good.
