How about a Trunks tribute? Use The History of Trunks. That might sound alright because of Gohans death and Trunks is all alone to battle the Androids. And he states earlier on in the movie "I'd rather die that watch all this..." hMmm

Despite the male vocal I really think the lyrics work incredibly well for Lain, ESPECIALLY that last verse.

I'm not sure how well it would work aesthetically but as a character profile it would be superb.
