Kazaa........? [using downloaded footage]

I;m currently working on a new video (my first) and I was wondering if I could use clips from Kazaa, since I don't have many DVD's to work with. If I can't, or it's not good, coud you recommend some stuff to me? Thanks.

Don't use clips they look bad and they're ILLEGAL.

Save up some money and buy a DVD-Rom drive and DVDs. ITS EVERYONE'S FAVORITE PHILOSOPHY.

Yah Kazaa footage is for the most part pretty crappy and will have fan subs. It really is best just to save up for the DVDs. This way you can also own a very good quality of the anime even after your video is done.

You know you should read the forum rules before posting. You already broke a major rule about posting about getting illegal footage.

Oww guys I thought I was harsh. Do what you like cuase
let's not forget Omni's Vandard AMV was fansubs. Look in the
right hand corner there's an E-F logo (Elite Fansubs)
However if it looks like crap we will have to hunt you down

Yeah, but even though Omni is my friend, it's still illegal according to the rules regardless of the quality ne?

He obviously just loved the letters "EF" and decided it would look nice in his vid.

Note: there is also a difference, at least IMO, between

"This is the only possible way of getting this source"
and
"I'm too lazy/impatient/cheap to get good source that IS available"

Buy it, or wait until you can buy it.

Personally, I'm against bootleg usage but quite friendly towards digisub AMV. I don't find the quality difference between them and DVD too striking.
