Free 500 megs hosting

Post by T4K » Mon Sep 15, 2003 6:35 am

I need serious inquiries, I am setting up an account for serious people to upload music anime. The server resides in Texas on multihome oc12. THIS IS FREE! So you all share an account. Once the 500 megs are used their will be no more upload until 3-6 months. Unless emailed otherwise to not delete a video. Thank you. T4K@t4k.org

Can I submit a file that is more than 100MB ?
No ?
Then I'll use the donut.

What is the goal of this hosting, while the golden Donut works perfectly ?

Just upload it, it doesn't matter. Like I said once 500 megs is breached there will be no more uploading. The goal is just to have a free dedicated server, or another dedicated server. lol... I am sure there is more out there.

ah. Ok.
But I don't want to eat your space. I have a server that works fine. I just wanted to critisize  (ain't I evil ?)

I'm sure there are other people here who really need this space, so I wont upload such a huge file.

Planning on upgrading

Post by T4K » Mon Sep 15, 2003 6:57 am

I am soon going to get an unmetered line for bandwidth, I have 1 terabyte of bandwidth right now... Which is plenty. But server is limited on space. So the new server will probally be two 250 gig drives. An located on a Level3.net backbone. Hopefully I can be an affilate to animemusicvideos.org. IF not I'll just have to start my own site. I understand that amv has to pay for their stuff some how. I can't afford any donations since everything is going to this server I am building. An willow it's ok to be evil, everyone has their Evil Inside.

...why start a new site? The great thing about the AMV community is that it's centralized, starting a new AMV site would ruin that.

Well, as far as I know, this isn't a commercial site. So, no?

That's not a good thing. Single point of failure. If Phade gets hit by a bus, we're all fucked.
