I know, but I'm saying, doesn't www.animemusicvideos.com already exist as a whole separate site?

It doesn't seem to be working for me. Besides, I think it's safe to say that the vast majority of the AMVing community is on the 'Org, not the 'Com.

Oh, and I second SQ's suggestion. Dedicated hosting of all the MEPs would be nice.

I got SOME space (I got a 30 GB HDD in here, but about 7 GB free for now) and I have unlimited internet. (Note, this is my home computer, I'm hosting a site off of it and would be happy to host a few AMVs off it(even though it's not nessecarily online all the time))

I have unlimited internet at home too.... But who the hell wants to download from a cable connection or dsl for that matter. If no one wants to use it I'll just set a shut down date for it. Pointless setting it up if no one wants to use it, right?

All I asked was for some volunteers or people that would need FREE 500 megs of hosting, but no one cares. They start comparing and blabbing crap like little kids. So I'll put these standards use it or leave it. End of story.

Here's another suggestion: how about you allow people to use the server to upload test/trial/beta versions of their vids so others could watch them, give critiques, and let the creator put some touches on it before getting it on the org.

I'm sure that's something people would wish they could do on the org, and I think it would both be fun and benefitial.

Anyways, I suggest you formalize a procedure for submitting content, its requirements, and maybe try to run a small database that tracks uploads/message board that lets people announce what they put on there.

Personally, once I have a version of my second vid that doesn't hurt people's eyes or sense of rhythm, I'd be very interested in taking advantage of what you're offering.
