ummm, i'm a little confused......
I have been a member of this site for two weeks now and i was wondering, why do people upload amv's onto this site and then not allow anyone to view them? it says on the download, "no" and i wasn't quite sure why someone would make a music video that no one else can see. does anyone know why?

Some of those are vids that people just haven't gotten a chance to upload yet. Others are ones that were hosted on their websites but taken down after a while. The site is to catelogue all amvs - so even the older unavailable ones are listed - they just aren't all available.

Not every video is uploaded. The ones that say "No" next to it mean that the creator does not have it uploaded to any server, ours included.

Arigatomyna and Flint have some excellent points. Here's some more info:
My guess is that some people like to acknowledge that their AMV is complete, but maybe they don't currently have the means to upload it to the Org or their own web space. People may forget that they've put in their video's information into the Org and have not provided the actual link to their vid. The Org is also a database for AMVs which are complete, and they don't need to have a link provided along with their information. So I think that people either forget to input links to their vids or they don't have the means to upload them onto a server yet.

Yup wat he said, there are a number of possiblilties, just be patient or if u really want to see that specific AMV right there and then, email the creater and ask what up.Arigatomyna wrote:Some of those are vids that people just haven't gotten a chance to upload yet.
