Marco gave me my most influential review as well, although I still would have continued to make AMV's had he not given it to me. I would have never improved though had he not been so honest with me and tell me what viewer's look for in a good video. I owe him alot for being so truthful with me...

QUAHOG Kombat? I can't imagine too many people even know what a quahog IS... it's a giant surfclam, everyone (a clam as at least twice the width and depth your mouse). My dog likes to crack them open and eat them at the beach.
AMV Progress:
"D-Me" (default title until something cooler occurs to me) - uh... this one's still in the "I wanna make it" stage, but did get to 5% at one point.

Going back over ops..I have to say that Beowulf..MJ..EarthCurrent..and SSJVejita0609 are ones that have given me really good advice in reveiws on my vids...they really took the time to tell me what they thought could be improved..ect..

To be honest..it was Beowulf's vote of confidence in my first vids, first reveiw that gave me the boost to try to make another vid..^^

Others that have helped me out without really leaving me an op..(read beta testing and offering advice over AIM) would be Devolution, Xenodrake and Rozard..thanks to all you guys..^^

In fact, I cherish every opinion on that video.

MJ's review of Eleventh Hour made me splooge (and helped me improve).

Beo's review of Vampires, Psychos, and Those who Hunt Them was just what I needed (A nice ass kicking).

And Ari's review of Scars of Rememberance was ALSO just what I needed (A vote of confidence).

There are others I'm sure I'm forgetting.
The best effects are the ones you don't notice.

Heh. My answer is two-fold...

My favorite review to read is one that I got for my NES Project track, 'Nene's Game'. - http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... d_id=23991

It still cracks me up even though I've read it many times....

The 'Best' in terms of actual thoughtful analysis of the video with truly constructive criticism was one I received just a few days ago for the Anime Boston Intro video (the top opinion, by jnettie): http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... d_id=16734
