I need an anime that will fit this theme

I need an anime with two charaters the first needs to be someone reckless and pretty much suicidal in that he is fighting for a goal and pretty much doesn't care about anything. the second charater needs to either be a friend, a mentor or whatever that hates the way he/she is so reckles and believes they are gonna get themself killed

After a fashion, Bebop fits. Near the end Spike stops caring about anything but his goals, and Jet and Faye are rather upset about it.

Actually, Gunparade March fits also. From what I've seen, anyway. Some of the characters are reckless, and others spend a lot of time worrying about them.

Saber Marionette J might work, with character #1 being Otaru, and #2 being Hanagata.

You could use Inu Yasha as the first person and Kagome as the second.

I know Sailor Moon/ Usagi is a big acident waiting to happen. And Sailor Mars/ Rei is always on her case about it!!! But thats just the first anime that came to my mind.

hmmm scryed in a way.... the main character Kazuma is recless like that, but is fighting for his "sister" (who isn't actually his real sister) Kanami, and for his own reasons aswell. The second char could be played by #1, his rival, Ryohou, who hates the way he is so recless and seeminlg doesn;t care about anything, though they end up teaming up in the end to beat the bad guy. THis is the one to go with if you want a more rivalry feel to it than sentimental/romance. #2 by Kanami who doesn't voice her concerns about him much, but you can tell she worries about him whenever he goes out on a "job". If you want more of a romance/sentimental twist in it, this is the one to go with.
