Yeah, I'm not sure what you guys don't get, but what makes a video good and what makes it enjoyable to watch are two different things. I mean, I know I've got plenty of videos I've made that don't meet the general standard of "good", yet they very enjoyable to watch.

I particularly enjoy a video when the creator attempts to really do something with the music. Like, when I'm watching it, if I see little things that really click in with the music, I think that's great to see. Especially if it's a different kind of song than your used to. Like, everyone uses Evanescence, or rock bands, or that kind of thing. They're all kinda the same. That's why when you watch something by a completely different artist in a completely different genre, it really grabs your attention. I don't know, that's just me. I like to always put a lot of emphasis on the music in an AMV ^_^

Originality makes a video more enjoyable, when you see something you havent seen before.

Action sync, cool poses, and a good song. If it has all those, video quaility could be in the dumps, subtitles could run across the screen, and it can even be Linkin Ball Z, and I'll still enjoy it very much.

It would probably depend on the Anime you like and the songs you like i guess.

In my opinion it depends on the song, and the song quality, as well as how good the footage is. I dont like some AMV with a really Kick Ass song, but the Audio Quality Really bites. That really Pisses me off!!
