How many opinions would you be happy with?

the ops themselves are not the big things that brings me super happiness. it's the ops that come out of the blue without me having to exchange or anything that makes me get that cool winter day feeling after putting a mint strip in my mouth. it just makes you want to say "aaaaaaaaaaah" and sip some water. it's that cool to see. this goes double for my videos that i know suck compared to others i did.

Thanks...I'll check that out next serious* video I do.madbunny wrote:Hey, put your video in my free ops thread. I try to make a point of doing that very thing.kitsunebeolnet wrote:I'm happy with the number of ops I get (2 average per video without serious pimpage) but I really wish that more would tell me how to FIX what they don't like.madbunny wrote:What brought this on?
The *amount* of ops doesn't really matter so much as what is in them.
For the first few ops, it's all about detail and technical issues, after that it's all about whether or not the person liked or disliked the video. Ideally, each op should have both things but in all honesty we know that most don't.
So I guess, about 4 average reviews, maybe. If the review is really good, then just one will do the trick.
*My AMV this week I consider a 'throwaway' and really am not too concerned about ratings or ops. I got inspiration earlier for one that will involve a lot more effects than I usually do (Especially since I've only done 1 little effect in each of 3 different videos, anything more would be a major increase. ) and will be curious how it stacks up.

I'm happy if I just get someone who feels they should take the time to comment on it. I'm unhappy if they right an intensely long op not detailing ways to make it better, but detailing everything that was wrong with it and how bad the video was

I think so far I've been pretty satisfied with the average 10 OPS. The one that's 6 is my first vid and I feel I've retired any need for my through a few really good OPs.
Pretty much what Madbunny said, a few detailed OPs (I can't agree with saying just one really detailed one because everyone shows a different perspective or can touch upon something someone else didn't). After 4 or so good OPs, the rest can be simpler, just whether the person liked/disliked it.

I'm happy to get any at all heh I'm just starting out so I was content with the 1 opinion I got. It's nice to have at least one person give some advice and it lets you know that someone actually watched it
