I HIGHLY recommend buying the DVD, of course I'm the kettle calling the pot black because my only video is downloaded footage, but my reasoning was because the series was recently liscensed and I want to buy the DVDs when they come out, it'd be a waste to buy the Japanese DVDs and then buy the American DVDs.

If you have the same reason for using downloaded footage, (I urge you to buy your anime, I work at Suncoast and roughly 5-10% of the people that come in and look at anime actually buy it, support the industry, don't make kittens cry) buy Sony's Vegas, it has a built in widescreen feature that cuts off the top and bottom of the screen, that should get the job done
you are an artist, a god in your own mind
