Glad you guys enjoyed my advice, if anyone has anything else they'd like to add feel free! I was just putting up some advice for banners I saw today so I'm sure there was more I could have added. Yeah lense flare is a big no no in the design world, it directs all the attention to the big shiney spot instead of the real meat of the image.

I am going to give a big boot to the banner people. Why?
For the same reason as you all.

Now, way back in the day when I made a huge ass submition of banners, this banner got DQ'ed:

Now, why was it rejected? Because it had unreadable text!
WTF? There are PLENTY of banners that have WAY unreadable text.
Now I'm not upset this banner got rejected... It did suck.
What I'm upset about is the mods rejected this banner for illegibility while others, where you can't tell if it's a squiggly line or text can go through just fine.

And to that I say, Damn you banner checkers! Seriously, either appoint some new people for banner qualifications, or pay more attention.

Personally I think the banner checkers just hate me. They rejected this, too:

Since when was it "too wrong" to show a MAN'S nipple? It's not like he's seceretly a female or anything!
