A different Sailor Moon idea?

I don't normally watch Sailor moon, but I just caught a song on the radio and wondered to myself -

Has anyone been nutty enough to do a Sailor Moon vid to "Dark Side of the Moon" by Pink Floyd?

I believe this belongs in the AMV Suggestions forum.

I actually really thought the two could go together ^_^;; But never actually tried it. Pink Floyd is so hard to edit to.

I'd be interested into looking into the possibility, but I don't have a proper understanding of the series. Can someone give me a character or an arc, or an angle I could learn about and base it on?

Sailor Moon was my first anime obsession for years so I'm pretty familiar with it. I think I know most of what there is to know at least, the only part of the series I haven't watched is the S because I couldn't stand the new girl's voice. Otherwise I've seen everything before it in English, the first season in Japanese, and the whole stars season.

If you want any info on the plot or characters that be a good perspective for your amv if you decide to do it, just PM me and give me more details about the song and lyrics and I'd try to help. ^_^

I'm not so much a Pink Floyd fan. Mostly, they kinda scare me. Perhaps a good sign in a band?

In researching this post, I learned something about them.

I think actually there is no song "Dark Side of the Moon" as I thought - this is the title of the album, where most all the songs flow into each other. So I checked the lyrics, and one song I believe is the one I'm thinking of - the main song, (lyrically at least.)

It's called Brain Damage. After examining the complete lyrics, it's up to you if it's appropriate for Sailor Moon. ^_^;;;

Pink Floyd, how can I describe them? This sounds like a very laid back slow-song, that one ought to be smoking pot to. It's creepy enough that some play it in a Halloween setting. As the name implies it is a bit (hello!) dark.

That's a lovely song too. Got an anime in mind? It'd be kinda lame to do a music video celebrating boots. Gotta love a song about a woman who talks to her footware.
