Irrational (or rational) AMV dreaming...

I'm almost certain someone has posted this before but this is me talking. Anyone ever, uh, just start making up your own AMV's in your head, sometimes ones you know will never happen (ex. the cast of Ranma or Love Hina puttin' on a hella good concert), when you're just listening to music. Huh? Anyone? Is it just me? It happens to me a lot when I'm listening to my CD player on the bus home. So, am I having another case of the crazy pills or does this happen a lot?

I always thought of the editing process as making what's in front of me match what's in my head.

Sadly, I wish even 2% of these 'dreams' ever got to the actual AMV stage

Aw I thought this was gunna be a thread about actual dreams. But yea... Seeing the video in your head and then trying to create that is the way I thought everyone did it O.o Unless you follow the method of just trying random crap and going with what works. Thats an ok method too sometimes.

(And yes I have had dreams about editing. Unfortunately I edit far better in my dreams than real life.)

That is how all my vids start. Even though I only have one so far. But I'm working on another that started that way.

Yeah... I once dreamt I finished my latest video in less than 5 hours and it was actually good. (It actually ended up taking more like a few days.)

I daydream all my AMV ideas while listening to tunes on my MP3 CD Walkman.

But then the people at the transit center look at me funny when lime-green Trebuchet MS text flies by me. 8)

Y'see, there's a reason I wear shades while listening to MP3's outside the house. That's because the look in my eyes while visualizing some of that stuff is known for having horrified people at bus stops. (seriously)
