What software program is best to remove subtitles off of a video\anime? I have everything done except for that.

VirtualDub.

If you want to know where to get it, just search for it on Google.

There's also a guide for it in the Guides section.

You can also use CROP in Premiere in the video effects choices or use horizontal boxes at the top and bottom (instead or wide screen) to cover the subtites.

Or use VirtualDb as suggested above.
Trying is the first step towards FAILER!!! <awayoflife>

VirtualDub's all well and good, but I'd have to recommend <a href="http://virtualdubmod.sourceforge.net">VirtualDubMod</a> instead.

No program will do you a lick of good unless you know what method you want to use. There is no automated solution. Read the guides.

But my opinion is to use F9, this key is used for meke title in Pre 6.5 and chose rentangle tool then change color to black, and cover only the area with subtitle, save it, and use ONLY in the frames that has subs. Or if you wanna crop the whole video do it!

it would make a lot more sense to do that not just to the frames with subs but to the whole video, if you only do it to the frames with subs it'll look like the strangest vid ever, with black boxes popping up all over the place.

it's much better to do whatever you've going to do to the whole vid.

Small problem

Post by Luirru » Sun Oct 24, 2004 9:07 am

I downloaded both the virtual sub and virtual sub mod, but they do not open the file. I created it on Windows Movie Player as that is what I was told to do from an anime convention that I attended said to use. So is there anotherprogram that opens\uses those files or is there a way to change it from its current file type into an .avi format?
