Can you name an anime where people fall on their head a lot?

Post by EvaXephon » Sat Nov 06, 2004 2:35 am

I hope this topic is in the right forum, and isn't too silly, but I'm looking for an anime that has many shots of characters falling on their heads.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, in many of the more light-hearted anime, whenever something disapointing happens, a character might fall down, with their head on the ground and their legs sticking up in the air.

For anyone who is wondering why I need an anime or several anime that have such scenes, I've found a song that would be perfect for shots of people falling on their heads. Most of my anime are serious, though - I don't have many light-hearted ones.

What would you reccomend?

I believe Rurouni Kenshin has a fair bit of those.

Lol, Kenshin's got a lot of either falling-on-head or getting-hit-on-head slapstick shots. I think Slayers has its fair share too.

Thanks for your suggestions, everyone!

Sadly, none of those anime are in my collection. I guess I'll just have to scour my Excel Saga DVDs for such scenes...I'm sure that a wacky anime like ES has it...

What about Slayers? A character called Amelia always climbs to the top of the highest thing in sight and jumps off in a heroic fashion......only to do a headplant into the ground.
On the seventh day, God rested...and watched anime. And it was good.

GTO. If the anime is anything like the manga, every episode will have Onizuka or one of his students taking the plunge off a building, usually onto the Principal's white Cresta.

Grr...Ixidor stole my suggestion.

But, there are a few in the El Hazard series, though not many...

Thanks for your suggestions, but I'm not looking for scenes where characters accidently fall. I'm looking for scenes where people do this weird sort of little "Flip Over Onto Head In One Frame" thing.

Ixidor gave a good suggestion, because Pokemon has lots of scenes like that. If only I had some Pokemon DVDs, I would be all set, but I don't...

Ah, well, I won't sweat it. Thanks again, everybody.
