Need a suggestion for an over-the-top, sappy romance anime

I came up with yet another idea for an AMV today. This will certainly ensure that I never finish any of the other three videos I am currently working on.

The song: "Kill for the Devil" by The Fools.

The first time I heard this song, I almost died. The song is a parody of backwards masking on Heavy Metal Albums. The song is a wicked sappy love song. Later in the song, the devil starts not so subtley talking to the kid listening to the album.

I have no idea what to use as the base anime. It definitely needs to be as sappy, sugar coated ridiculous romantic as possible. To play the part of the devil with all the motion masking/lip synch will be no other than Dabura from DBZ since he is the quintessential, sterotypical devil figure.

Ah my goddess - Beldandy romance makes for the cutsy/sappy vids.

Or if you did a multi-anime vid you could nab all sorts of drown-you-in-sugar romance shots. Inuyasha, Fushigi Yugi, Please Teacher, lots of anime that aren't *about* the sap, but include very appropriate scenes.

Hmm.... A fine point. I should give this a looking in to.

If this video works out like I hope it does, it should be fairly amusing.
