Looking for a special kind of amv maker...
hey, i've seen a lot of .avi and .mpg supported amv makers, but does anyone know an amv maker that supports .rm or .rmvb, or both, too? cuz if u do and u can tell me, that would really be appreciated

I believe you've really misinterpreted the post. What he's asking for are editors that compress using .rm not editors that use .rm for editing. And quality wise .rm is just as good as Xvid, but due to player limitations it isn't so good for mass distribution. Maybe you ought to get more informed.dokool wrote:RM is pure ass. I don't think there are any editing programs that work with RM that well, and trying to recompress RM would be a bad idea...

Best bet is to do as everyone else: just export a uncompressed or lossless compressed .avi file from your editor (if it can) and then use RealMedia or whatever the coding software from Real is called to encode it separately. I don't know of any software that does that in one step unless Real themselves have a video editor out there (which they might).
