101 AMV Ideas!!!

Now, here's a good question for you all. Ever notice those tiny similarities between Edward Elric of FullMetal Alchemist and our very own Vash the Stampede?
Let's see, they both wear red capes/cloaks/jackets, whatever. They both are right there in a mix between angst/humor. They both have brothers. Both their brothers have angst. They both do that thing with the weird arm and stuff...yeah...I don't know what i just said either. And they both live in a place with a lot of dust and stuff. (I doubt Vash likes the desert either).

Anyway, it'd be cool to do an amv (I think) to the song, "Brother's Under the Sun" by Bryan Adams (from the Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron Soundtrack) as a sort of sentimental theme, tragedy theme, yada yada. Or you could do it to the song, "Just the Two of Us" by Bill Withers, lipsynch it, and make it a humor vid.

That's a very good elaboration, but there is one problem. The animation styles are way too different, plus considering the fact that Trigun DVD's suck the difference after compression will be quite noticable. Still, a very nice idea. I would've done it if it weren't for the stuff mentioned above. Great ideas Erin. Keep them comming. As for my own idea:

Concentrate on the relationship between Gutts and Kaska. This would be like a Drama/Romance vid, but with angsty elements. The refrain should show Gutts' tough fights and imply that the only thing he ever fought for was her (it's not like that in the anime, but hey put some brains in it guys ~.^). I mean this is pretty easily executable if you know Berserk well. The only reason I'm not doing it is cause I'm sick of drama vids and want to try out in comedy a bit. But hey unless someone is willing to take this I'll certainly do it after some time.

Idea: My cousin burned me a CD and this song was on it. It [i]SCREAMS[/i] Cowboy Bebop. It has a slightly jazzy, bizzare feel to it and the lead singer is a little strange sounding but would work great with Cowboy Bebop. Here are the lyrics.

Anyways, idea 11....

I was listening to M2M's soundtrack, "The Big Room", the other day, when this song popped up... "Miss Popular". I stopped, and, being the idea-thinker-upper-person that I like to pretend I am, I searched my mind for a good amv idea for that.
Miyazawa popped into my mind. It seems like the song would be quite a bit good for her, if you focused on how she was the "perfect" girl before she met Arima, and how she seemed to lose popularity afterwards (well, she lost some). Or, you could go for another snobbish girl. For instance, Mayu-chan from Ai Yori Aoshi, or Nanami from Revolutionary girl Utena.
Haha. Maybe even a rather comedical Evangelion one.
Even better! Make it revolve around Integra Hellsing. Haha, how cruel I am...

Here's a good one for X. How about the song "Sora" from the Escaflowne movie? The lyrics rather match the show, and you could definately make it out to be a yaoi one if you wanted (good scenes of Fuma and Kamui), or perhaps Kohtori/Kamui, or just all the dragons together.

Just a quick, simple little idea. Toss it around a bit. I think you might like it.

Here's an awesome idea that i just came up with, randomly. I think it's one of the best I've found so far.

You know that really catchy song in Kiki's Delivery Service, "I'm Gonna Fly"? That would make such an awesome video if you got some good images for it, timed it right, and made sure to make a good-quality video.

There's two roads you could go that would make a perfect video. The first would be to put the song to a Hayao Miyazaki tribute, and show footage from Princess Mononoke, Kiki's Delivery Service, Spirited Away, Castle in the Sky, and...well, you COULD leave Totoro out..
Anyways, time it so that corresponding pictures go with the words. Like, the "I'm gonna fly," part, you could show Haku and Chihiro flying, or the Castle in the Sky, or Ashitaka riding on one of the Wolf Gods at that part where he's headed to the lake before they take the Spirit's head.
Get it?

The second route would be to make it a CardCaptor's video. Don't you think that'd look cute? Could show a good deal of Sakura there. And, might I suggest, some footage from the second movie, "The Sealed Card" would definately make it PERFECT!
