I agree and understand the creation of stickies and tired of helping on the same dead horse question.
I am a forum user on hundreds of sites, I understand completely how people feel about it, however
this is the first time, after reading which many newbies dont do, FAQs and Guides, I have been tremdously confused.
more specifcally on choosing FPS when encoding.
Now, I want to start on my AMV, but I no longer know what to do.
I want to fully utilize everything in my possession, meaning choosing the right project setup (adobe preimere pro)
NTSC vs PAL
32 vs 48MHZ
16:9 vs 4:3
29.997 vs 29.976 vs 24
though, I usually pick default, I no longer want to be "ignorant" and want to know exactly what I am doing, step by step!
those questions above, as much as I read the guides, im at a loss.
I dont know which one qualifies for what type of scenerio.
I use downloaded animes, uncertain if they are interlaced or not, all avi files not sure what encode they have previous used if any...
some type of points please beside redirectng me to the blasphemy guide!
(the guide was a GREAT HELP, I learned alot, but I mixxed up certain information from other guides which I cant undo in my head)

Whatever format your clips are in.Noverca1is wrote:NTSC vs PAL
Whatever sample rate the audio you plan to use is at, which will usually be 44.1KHz (= 44100 Hz) (not MHz!).Noverca1is wrote:32 vs 48MHZ
Set Premiere Pro to Square Pixels (1.0) and use whatever resolution your clips have.Noverca1is wrote:16:9 vs 4:3
Um, that's 29.<b>97</b> and <b>23</b>.976.Noverca1is wrote:29.997 vs 29.976 vs 24
And this should also be whatever frame rate your clips are at. Unless, of course, they're at 23.976, because Premiere can't edit at 23.976; you'll have to speed your clips up to 24 to get them to work right.
Basically, most or all of the settings should match those of the footage and audio you're planning to use.
Whoops, can't help you there.Noverca1is wrote:I use downloaded animes

Converting Windows Movie Maker to Quicktime.
How do you convert a Windows Movie Maker File into a Quicktime File?
-and what program do I use? -I have been searching, and I can't seem to find one.
I have a animation, that I have been working on for a while.
http://www.geocities.com/rippingsoul/index.html
Quicktime, is the only thing that I can use, at the moment.
-If anyone has another option I would be very great-full. ^_^
I have been working on the Anime for 12 Years (Presently)
^__^;; I was quite fussy with the Script. It started as a hobby- but then I really put my heart and spirit into it.
So, if anyone can help me. . I would be most thankful. and in debt to you. ^__^
