I'm am the professional anime music video group known as Omni Strata Studios.
I say professional cause I get paid in smiles and people just feeling better after watching my amvs is just a good thing.
Thank you and good night! ^_^

Studio
I am the only person in my "studio" Identity Crisis. I have a couple of friends with whom I've introduced to the AMV world who may or may not start creating there own, hopefully under the same studio. I think most people create a studio name just so they can get that "profesional" feel in there AMV's. Its kinda like everyone getting there own Warners Bros. stamp on their creation, it looks better than having "created by (name)." Also it makes it easier to have a website devoted to your AMV's.

Studios in the AMV world are like using leaves for currency, there's just too many to be worth anything.
There are execptions of course, themed studios (Most notably Globocide) are certainly significant, as are groupings of experienced creators like RDS. Even one man studios can be significant if the creator is respected enough (Aluminum Studios comes to mind.)
I suppose it adds a touch of profesionalisim, but I prefer to wait to join/create a studio until I can say it actually means something.

Shadow Arts Productions is a new one that me and Master_Gohan22 founded. He's a good friend of mine, lives about five minutes away, so we can actually work together on our videos and help each other out with stuff. We've never actually made a video that we both put our name on, though.
It's great having someone you can work with, and it's true, having a cool little intro just for your studio/productions makes people think it's more "professional." My favorite productions intro has got to be Zero Tolerance's intro.

The Smahut team can really seriously be considered as a studio, when you look at their last creation, a multi-creators amv...
Concerning the logo I put in my AMVs, Anim'ailleurs is an association of about 40 students members, fans of jap-animes and mangas. I was part of them, but stay the only creator of AMV... so i decided not to put it as an "AMV studio" when i uped my vids, still i give the name in the title and use the logo... Too bad nobody else try out to make a vid, as i don't plan to make another for a mom...
(those websites are in french, sorry !)
