Final Fantasy Clips but No Idea
I got a lot of Final Fantasy clips but can't think of a good song to make an AMV. Anybody got suggestions?

Do it to Country. I don't actually like Country in general, the thing is it would be unique for this site AND if you could find a song that really worked and was generally well liked it could work. You could go new school or Old. Johnny Cash songs come to mind.
He was singing about killing men who got in his way long before Rap came around.
Good luck!

Just a little bit
*scours her music*
I think I've come up with a few potential songs; I checked all of them in a super search, and most haven't been used with Final Fantasy yet.
Angel Sanctuary - "Messiah" - very strange song, part techno, part orchestra, part Japanese-sang-in-English. Would make for an interesting action video.
Avenged Sevenfold - "I Won't See You Tonight Part I" - has something for everyone with its melodic piano sections and hard rock riffs. Great for a depressive romance video. VERY long - 8:58
Dave Matthews Band - "When the World Ends (Oakenfold remix)" - have only seen one video to this ever and am curious if anyone else COULD use this song. Not perverted, but a very dark, sexual song.
Foo Fighters - "Learn to Fly" - been done to FFX twice, but I was thinking that this would make a good Garnet profile - about how she is trying to stand on her own, and although she does learn much about self-reliance, she still needs Zidane. A generally fun, upbeat song.
Gravitation - yeah...just...Gravitation. It's all mostly fast-paced techno and would make for good action videos. My favorite song is "Shining Collection", but that's been done a few times to FF.
Ill Nino - "How Can I Live" - a great potential Cloud profile detailing his thoughts on Sephiroth. Also a potential Zidane profile detailing his thoughts on Kuja. Or Squall's thoughts on Seifer.
Iwasaki Taku (Witch Hunter Robin OST) - "Flame" - driving orchestral with great storytelling potential. Could be an action video, too. Has been used with FFVIII once.
I think that's all for tonight. I'll probably give you more (as I'm only up to letter 'K' in my list), but I won't overload you.

*yet more scouring!*
*scours the rest of her music*
Okies, this is the continuation of the list I was giving you.
K's Choice - "Everything for Free" - ooh, I wish FFVI had more cutscenes, cuz this would be a good Terra profile. My other thought was a Cloud profile, but I don't know how many appropriate scenes you could find.
Killswitch Engage - "The End of Heartache" - been done to FFVIII once, but seems more of a VII concept to me. Or X and X-2. Good hard rock. Version on the Resident Evil: Apocalypse soundtrack is best.
Lifehouse - "Breathing" - a great song for multiple FF's. There is enough angst in here to choke an optimist. Kind of a love song, but interpretation is up to you. FFIX is probably your best bet for this.
Mad at Gravity - "Historypeats" - definitely a X and X-2 song. I mean, just look at the title of it. A song like this gives X-2 more credibility for its seriousness (or lack thereof -_- .) After all, X-2 proves in an odd way that the past really does just repeat itself.
Matchbox 20 - "Downfall" - another great multiple FF video. Powerful sounds in the second half of the song would make for some great, strong beat editing. Also great for telling a story.
Mauro Picotto - "Proximus" - cool techno. Takes part of its music from a different song whose name escapes me *pulls out the CD*. Ah. "Adiemus" is the name.
Natalie Merchant - "My Skin" - a sad, dark ballad that would make for a great Yuna or Garnet (or both) profile. Very pretty song.
I'd say Nightwish, but just about everything has been done at this point...
Noir OST - "Salva Nos" - unique, fast-paced techno with Italian opera vocals. Would love to see a great FF video to a song like this. This would definitely be an action video.
Savage Garden - "Gunning Down Romance" - one of my top five favorite songs of all time. This piece has a trancelike sense of motion to it. Lots of powerful beats and cool, quick off-beats. Great for a depressing FF video, X being my preference, but VIII works well too.
Soilwork - "Enter the Angel Diabolique" - actually suggested to me once by a friend. I didn't know if I would ever be able to do it, but it would make for a great, short action video. Lots of power, lots of drama.
"Shout" - take your pick. There's the Disturbed version, the Sweetbox version, and, of course, the Tears for Fears version. Just a song about a dying world. The video would follow that idea naturally.
There's always the System of a Down path - which, oddly, coincides with the "no opinions" path. ^_~
The Buzzhorn - "Ordinary" - a pretty good Tidus profile, about how his life was perfectly ordinary, then gets completely screwed up. Could be about the struggles he went through dealing with this change. Also great to show how the higher-ups in Spira (like Seymour) just want personal power.
Ugh. Made it up to "T" but I'm too tired to finish this list off. So, I'll add more to this again, unless you'd rather I didn't.
As always, Farewell, Good Luck, and Happy AMV-ing!

Finally done?
*finishing her scouring*
Okies. Here's the last set of the many, many songs I've been suggesting.
The Calling - "Could It Be Any Harder" - seen two FFX videos to this, but I first thought of an VIII video. Personally, I hate Squall AND Rinoa, but if done right, you could start this video at the end of the game, and then tell the story up to that point. Since the song is about memories, that seems appropriate.
The Echoing Green - "Supernova" - dunno. Seems like a Final Fantasy-worthy song to me. The lyrics are a little vague, but that just leaves them open to interpretation. Could make for a very flowing, semi-action video.
The Pillows - "She is Perfect" - an interesting possible Yuna profile from Tidus's point of view. Song IS in Japanese, but this should help.
The Used - "Blue and Yellow" - another good Tidus and Yuna video. Song is a different kind of rock ballad. Almost falls under punk, I think.
Three Doors Down - "Let Me Go" - on a Tidus/Yuna roll today it seems. A good romance video from a 'despair' point of view. Lyrics would work well for either character's POV, but I think Yuna would be better, if only because of the chorus.
Vanessa Carlton - "Twilight" - a dark ballad that would make for a great multiple FF video. The song shifts between depressive and uplifting quickly, so it would be a video of contrasts for sure.
X TV - "Last Battle" - being quite fond of X music, I had to suggest something from that anime. Being an orchestral piece, I see this as a bit more of a sophisticated action video to multiple FFs.
*was going to suggest Xenogears - "Light from the Netherworld" to FFVII, but then searched and found ONE video to that song, just happening to be FFVII* v_v
Saikano OST - Yato Yuria - "Sayonara" - a very sad, moving song about parting and painful goodbyes - absolutely perfect for X and X-2. Here's some lyrical aid, as this is in Japanese.
*gasp* Gasp! This is the end of my unholy, tyrannical suggesting of music! Yes, it took three long shots to get all of my FF ideas out, but now you know them.

Hey, if you think that's bad, you should have seen my Side Characters Challenge thread. I posted like that everytime. Besides, for all any of us know, omnislashmaster may hate my taste in music. Even if I dominate the thread, all people who could help should still post.shit, guess you dont need much now that dj_ultima_the_great posted a friggin book.
Anyway, no one has blantantly said that I'm annoying yet, so I figure they don't mind my ginormous posts.

Hey, I don't care. Ideas are ideas. I need some. I had some ideas myself:
Styx - Come Sail Away
Initial D - Night of Fire
Van Halen - Eruption (or) Right Now
Journey - Faithfully
But if I can get ideas from other viewers/creators, that is better. Any suggestions (even in excess) is wonderful, because I'm starting to get bored of my boring life, LOL.
Keep 'em coming!
