Not without hearing the song or watching the anime. And for people who haven't seen the anime, I wouldn't really understand what they were discribing.

IF I was taking suggestions, my first step would be to download the song, or purchase the CD it's on. Listen to the song, let some ideas form in my head, and then apply them to the anime.

I gave the community a combination that I think will work. And if I was going to go on about all of my ideas for the movie, I would give them to you.

I don't have any.

So IF you feel like making an AMV about cowboy Bebop or Trigun, I reccomend you use Marvo Ging by the chemical brothers.

There is my "suggestion."

And frankly, if I should expect the "do it yourself" reply for all of my suggestions, I feel that's very discouraging, especially since I'm offering so much creative control.

And for such a good song, too.

Discouraging to what, exactly? What are you after, here? Do we owe you something for some reason?

Have you ever tried to make an AMV yourself? It's a lot of work, and 95% of the time, people just aren't going to do that on the say-so of a complete stranger. They have to be interested or invested in the idea themselves. It's not just you. This forum lets people shoot the breeze about possibilities, but it's rare that "DO THIS NOW, SOME RANDOM PERSON SAYS SO" demands are taken seriously. Especially when you pout when nobody jumps to grovel at your feet. That's not going to convince us, you know.

Beyond that, this board is made of more editors than viewers. To most of them, editing is much more fun than viewing. They're not robbing from you so much as offering you the opportunity to make your own vision out of it. There's no need to get pissy.

Funny you should say that, Ninja. The best music videos I've EVER seen were Chemical Brothers vids that ironically aired on MTV2... directed by Michael Gondry (guy who did Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind). The vids set to the songs "Let Forever Be" and "Star Guitar" were trippy enough to leave me in awe.
